STAR Writing Test Reminder #2 (A few days ahead)

If you have a 4th and/or 7th grader, be sure to send out an email to your families and provide the date/time/location of where they will take the STAR Writing test. 

Dear Parent,

(Date) is the STAR Writing Assessment.  This test is administered to 4th and 7th grade students only.  Please be sure to arrive about 10 minutes prior to the start time to ensure all students get the instructions at the same time and that the room is quiet once instructions are given.  Please note that your STAR Writing location may be different than where your student will test for the other portions of STAR in either late March or April.  Please double check that you are going to the correct location. 

You may want to go over some writing strategies with your students, and I've provided some writing links to help them prepare. (cut and paste the link)

It starts promptly at (Time), and ends at (Time), or sooner depending on when your child finishes.  They may call you when they are done, but the student should bring something quiet to do while waiting.
