STAR Writing Test Reminder #1 (Month ahead)

Individualize per parent/student/and the test dates/weblinks.

Dear (Parents):

On (date) from (time frame), (student name) will be STAR tested in writing.  This is in addition to their regular STAR testing that will occur in (March/April). Additional information on this writing test is available at: (provide link). The school's goal as required by the state is to have all of our 4th and 7th grade students attempt this writing test the same date as all 4th and 7th graders in public schools in California! The students will be “rewarded” again this year if they attend both the writing and regular STAR testing sessions.
